Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC)
Construction Industry Skill Card
The Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC) oversees the construction sector, advising policy makers for enhanced social and economic contributions. The Skill Card program registers and certifies construction workers, mandating regular updates through safety tests and tailored CPD courses.
Communiqué, assumed the responsibility of crafting the Skill Card’s distinctive brand identity. Subsequently, we embarked on the creation of a series of animated videos. These dynamic assets help explain the usefulness and importance of possessing a Skill Card for professionals navigating construction sites. Plumbers, electricians, plasterers, builders, and architects alike must hold this certification to engage in construction projects.
With precision and strategic acumen, we executed an extensive marketing and awareness campaign. Encompassing a diverse media landscape including television, radio, print, out-of-home advertising, and a robust social media presence, our multifaceted approach hinged on compelling visual content, animations, and meaningful messaging. Recognising the unique nature of our target audience, particularly in specialised trades, we tailored our strategy to resonate with individuals who may not traditionally be avid consumers of media. Leveraging high-visibility tactics, family networks, and direct communication channels, we ensured a resonant outreach. This meticulous approach was pivotal in motivating the specialised workforce to actively pursue and attain their Skill Card certification.
The success of our campaign stands as a testament to our ability to navigate intricate audience dynamics and deliver impactful results.
